Stars of the Morning Stone of the Day 2/5/19

Hello everyone! Today’s stone of choice is Jasper.

Jasper has many uses. It is well-known for its strong healing and grounding workings. Almost every ancient civilization used it in some way.

Worn by shamans and other religious leaders, it is a sacred protection stone.

Many of the Ancient Egyptians used Jasper as talismans and jewelry. They carved amulets with the stone and were buried along with the amulets. They believed it would provide a safe journey to the afterlife.

Jaspers are used most frequently for healing, and providing the wearer/user with wisdom and courage.

Jasper carries a strong connection to the Earth’s energy. This makes the stone very good for grounding.

I will post later today on the different types of Jasper, as I did yesterday with Garnet.
